Donington 84 SBD?
Hi all, I've just realized that my copy of this show is an audience one. Does it exists a SBD bootleg of this show? and if so, Could anyone please share a link to it? Thanks ;-)
Hi, I also have the DVD of this concert, and I've just estracted its audio into a 320 mp3 file. After listened it, i doubt which one sounds better. its a bad SBD vs a fine audience. If anybody is interested in this file, ask me and i'll upload it, ok? ;-) Anyway, I hope maybe someone comes with better copy of the SBD. Take it easy!! :)

I was asked a couple of weeks ago if I had the radio broadcast of this show
of AC/Dc at Castle Donnington in August 1984.
As far as I'm aware this show wasn't broadcast but it was professionally
filmed.
I already had a decent audience recording of this show (Source 2 which is used to
patch the gaps), but not a soundboard recording.
That was rectified recently when I was sent an incomplete soundboard recording
of the show.
Consequently this is a result of my efforts. It's not meant to be the definative
recording, I'm sure somewhere out there, there will be a superior source to this.
Source 1 is the soundboard. It lacks bass, it has tape hiss, and the drums sound like
a packing case being hit. However the sound level is consistant and you do get used to it.
With the assistance of a graphic equaliser you can get it to sound
very good indeed.
Source 2 is a very good audience recording.
Both recordings have clear vocals and you can clearly here Angus' guitar.
This is the second Brian Johnson era show I have shared. I personally
do enjoy this line-up of AC/DC, and I first say this line-up at Donnington three years previously
when they headlined in 1981.
Not much else to add
I hope you enjoy it.
Cheers
Paul
Thanks arya! Been looking for this too. Did you get the chance to upload LTBR from Toronto '03 yet?

Thanks a lot arya925!!
This one sounds better than the one i ripped from my DVD. I think the sound still has got potential for improvement. Right now, i don´t have any free time, but maybe in the future, will find some to spend in mastering this boot.
I´m very grateful for your help ;-)
Thanks for sharing. This is the best sounding copy I've heard from memory. Cheers mate
