december 2007 christmas newsletter

With Christmas just 24 short days away, here is the December newsletter from acdc-bootlegs.com.  Whether you celebrate Christmas, Boxing Day, Yule, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Diwali, Soyal or any other holiday this month, be sure to enjoy yourself and think about what is important to you. 

acdc-bootlegs.com is making your holiday dreams come true!...sort of
With it being December and Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate), acdc-bootlegs.com is going to fill a few of your requests.  We will be sharing 4 shows this month, the first being East Rutherford, NJ from August 24, 2000.  This is a great sounding bootleg that features Satellite Blues, among the other great songs.  Click here to go to the BOTM page.  This first bootleg will run from December 1 to December 8.  On December 9, you can expect a new bootleg.  I'm going to do my best to plan ahead and schedule them out so they aren't late, so wish me luck.  There will not be newsletters sent out for each bootleg, so it's up to you to check back for yourself.  I am grateful to all of you for your membership, support and loyalty to the site, so I am going to work hard this month to show it.  Enjoy!

Just like the BOTM, I'm going to try and put up a video each week for the month of December.  The current video is Highway to Hell, recorded on September 11, 1991 in Graz, Austria.  This one is available until December 8, but I am hoping to post a new video on December 2nd as well.  Each video will run for 2 weeks, so there should always be 2 vids available for this month.  It'll be a busy month, but it's worth it to show my appreciation for the best members a webmaster could ask for  Click here to download it and enjoy, and be sure to check back often this month so you don't miss any of the videos!

For December, we're giving away the great pro-shot recording from Landover, MD, recorded on December 21, 1981.  This is the full length show, captured in great quality on 2 dvd's.  I realize this has been up on the Give-Away before, so I'm also throwing in the Chanantes release of the Largo promo videos.  This single disc features 6 promo videos from both the December 20 and 21 shows, and has been put together nicely by Chanantes.  So you have a chance to win 3 discs this month, all from the great Largo recording.  As an extra bonus, I'm keeping the Give-Away open a few extra days so it closes on December 24th.  There will be a special Christmas Day newsletter sent out as well, which will mention the winner of the DVD Give-Away.  Click here to sign up, and don't forget you can sign up once per day!

With a huge thanks to our friends at the Can't Stop AC/DC Webzine, we are happy to announce the newest Special to be posted on the website.  Acdtru has written up a great review of the Zurich '77 bootleg 'Cunning Stunts'.  This is available in both French and English, and you can check it out at acdc-bootlegs.com/specials.  You can also still buy the LP itself here.

and finally...
I would like to take this moment to thank every one of you.  Tis the season for giving thanks and remembering what is important to you.  For myself, it starts with my family.  From there, it goes to my friends (you included!), my health and all of the blessings I've had over my lifetime.  I've had my fair share of rough times, but the good times account for much much more, and that's what I remember most.  If you would like to share what you're thankful for, feel free to post it in the forum.
