Just a quick update.  Not trying to take up a lot of time, so I'll get straight to it.

I have an old AC/DC photo book from the early 80's.  I bought it when I was about 12 or so, and one of the pictures is an old shot of the band from about 1975/1976.  Mark Evans is wearing a t-shirt that says "touch me, i'm 'live'".  When thinking about how to introduce the new design, that caption came to mind.  With that being said, I'm happy to announce the new design is up and running.  It took a lot more work than I thought it would, but I think it payed off.  The new design looks better, but also works better.  Some of the updates are:
-- Addition of a News section where members can submit news articles
-- Reformatted Concert History (formerly known as the Venue Listing)
-- Rebuilt Forum that should actually work now  :)
-- Rebuilt Links section where members can submit their own links
-- Full Advertising system so you can advertise on the site if you like (contact me directly for now until I can get a page up for it)

There are a number of other smaller things, but those are the biggies.  I'd like to invite you to visit the site now, and see for yourself.  There are a number of things that are still in the works, so I'll be busy for quite a while.  If you find any bugs in the site, please PM me.  Check it out at acdc-bootlegs.com!

One last note on the new site. Rather than accept donations to help off-set the cost of hosting the site, I've put in some advertisements.  I realize this can often be tacky and cumbersome when overused, so I tried to keep it to a minimum on the site so it wouldn't distract from the content.  I make a small amount per click for both the Google ads and AuctionAds, and I also have the ability to put in custom ads which I'd like to open up to the members of the site to advertise for a fee.  I don't have a pricing model up yet, but I have some incredible impression numbers to share and am always willing to work out a deal.  So if you happen to see something interesting on those ads, feel free to click away!  If not, I can't blame you; I normally avoid the ads on the other sites I visit. 

Either way, thank you very much for your patience and dedication to the site.  We're going on 4 years now; when I first put the site together, I had no idea it would grow to become as popular as it is, or that I would meet as many good friends as I have.  All I can say is thanks.
