time for the august newsletter

Just like last month, I can't believe August is here already!  Things have been busy on my end, but I actually have everything ready on time this month! (well, almost).  Anyways, here goes:

indianapolis 1986 - who made who tour
This month's BOTM is from Indianapolis, IN recorded on September 5th, 1986.  This one features the great mid 80's set list, which includes Who Made Who, Fly on the Wall and even She's Got Balls!  Pretty good quality from what I remember, so be sure to check it out.  Click here to go to the BOTM page.

cover you in oil vid on acdc-videos.com
After not getting anything up for about 2 weeks, I finally put up a video shot in Zurich, Switerland on May 11, 1996.  This one is Cover You in Oil, shot from stage right.  The quality is about average, but is still fun to see them perform a song from Ballbreaker.  Feel free to check it out here.

august dvd give-away
The Give-Away for this month is a good quality 2 cam recording from New York City, NY, filmed on August 25, 2000.  Multi cams are great, so be sure to try and win this one.  For more info on the video, check it out here.  Otherwise, get signed up once per day for your chance to win from the home page of acdc-bootlegs.com.

new design for acdc-bootlegs.com expected september 1
Finally, close to a year or so after I had hoped to have a new design up, I'm actually getting close to finishing it!  I'm aiming for re-opening it on September 1st, 1 month from today.  There's still quite a bit that needs to be done, but I believe the bulk of the main part of the site is complete and ready to go.  I'll be spending the remaining month working out bugs and fine-tuning everything to make sure it all works the way it needs to.  So far, I'm extrememely happy with how it's coming out and should be a great upgrade to the existing site.  Be sure to check out the forum during the month for updates, as well as next month's newsletter.

please spare a moment & a prayer
As I'm typing this, I'm watching the news coverage about a major bridge that collapsed into the Mississippi river, between Minneapolis and St Paul, Minnesota.  I grew up about 45 minutes west of Minneapolis, and have been over this bridge many, many times.  I've gotten a hold of the majority of my family and so far everyone is fine, thankfully.  But many people aren't.  Please take a moment to think about those that were involved in this tragedy, as well as their families and friends.  For more info on the bridge collapse, please visit CNN here.

Talk to you soon,
