After a successful transfer to the new server, the website is back online.  The overall format has not changed much, but the new server package will give me about 20 gb more bandwidth to use in order to prevent the site from going down due to high traffic.  I will also try to bump up the quality of the mp3's shared for the BOTM, and may throw in a few bonus downloads here and there during the month.  That all depends on how much time I've got.  october BOTM poll is now open The October BOTM poll has been put online and is open for voting.  Up on the block for this month are 4 great shows from 1986-1988.  These four shows are: -- Jan 20, 1986 - Birmingham, England -- Sep 5, 1986 - Indianapolis, IN, USA -- Mar 15, 1988 - Arnheim, Holland -- May 20, 1988 - East Ruthford, NJ, USA Between these two years, there were 4 different opening songs.  I've included examples of all four in the poll, and have tried to choose better quality boots or less common songs.  Go Zone, for example, is included in one of the shows.  Not all of them are the best quality, but I'm sure they'll do the trick.  Check out the track lists at http://acdc-bootlegs.com/BOTM october give-away is also online This month's Give-Away is for the DVD 'Highway to Hammersmith', which is a collection of clips from the October 21st, 2003 show AC/DC did to re-open the Carling Hammersmith Apollo in London, England.  While it's not the complete show, it's still great seeing the band perform some old tunes.  Sign up today for your chance to win! forum is not online yet With the transfer to the new server, I figured it would be a good time to update the forum.  I've re-written the new forum from scratch and came up with a pretty good version.  It's about 90% done at the moment; just tying up some loose ends to make sure it's working correctly and it'll be enabled on the site as soon as it's done.  Some of the new updates include: -- custom avatars -- text signatures -- more forums to post in -- improved message count/views status -- just a better forum! It's taken about 3 weeks of work to get it this far, and will be an ongoing project with minor updates here and there.  Considering it's not a pre-built forum, I think it's turning out pretty good.  Keep an eye open for it's return hopefully this week. nothing else That's it for this message.  Things are going well in my personal life, and I've got an ass-load (by ass-load, I mean a lot) of trades in progress that should bring in some interesting stuff.  Check out the blog for minor updates as things happen.
